Oh the weather outside is frightful, but last night I met Chance the Rapper and Busta Rhymes so…. WINNING! I grew up listening to all genres of music, but hip-hop was a staple in the Wolf family household. Do or Die, Snoop Dog, Wu-Tang, OutKast, Nas, and Kanye West are just a few of the of the artists I have to thank for helping influence my musical taste buds. When the Marshal Mathers LP album dropped in 2003, I played that CD so many times, it nearly melted into my Discman. I just love the sound. The combination of poetry in a rhyming pattern and stylized rhythmic beats, are sure to make your body pop, lock, and drop.
The hip hop culture has had a strong influence on my artistic and creative development, including my fashion and style. In honor of my bad-ass Saturday night at Studio Paris with two incredible talents that represent the past and the future in hip-hop, I dedicate this post to my love for rap music.
